Paris residents face restrictions on daytime exercise
The government Authorities issues new guidelines regarding outdoor exercise during the daytime in Paris to fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak continues.
The outdoor exercise will be banned between 10:00 and 19:00 local time with effect from Wednesday.
Mayor Anne Hidalgo and the chief of police stated this might limit people to exercise "when the streets are generally at their quietest".
France has the highest death rate in the world due to deadly covid-19 virus. The number of confirmed covid-19 cases are rising daily and nearly nine thousand death have reported so far.
Health Minister Olivier Véran stated the outbreak had yet to reach its peak, "We are still in a worsening phase of the epidemic."
The government Authorities imposed the strict lockdown measures in the France for nearly a month. Anyone who goes outside is required to hold a doc stating their cause for leaving residence: purchasing for necessities, visiting a physician, or exercise within 1km of their residence.
The Police is trying to inforce strict lockdown measures and fined thousands of individuals for breaking the rules.
