Amir Khan's film Lal Singh Chadha and Akshay Kumar's film Raksha Bandhan both released in India on August 11. However, both the films failed to make a place in the hearts of the audience.
According to the report, both the films were released in 10,000 theaters in the country, but on the first day of the release, 1,300 shows of Lal Singh Chadha and 1,000 shows of Akshay Kumar's film Raksha Bandhan had to be canceled due to lack of interest.
Remember that 'Lal Singh Chadha' is a Hindi remake of the Hollywood classic film "Forrest Gump", in which hollywood actor Tom Hanks played the lead role.
The film was hit with controversies even before its release and Hindu extremists protested strongly against Aamir Khan's film and demanded cinema owners not to screen this film.
Due to the protest, the film could not earn much business as per expectations and can only earns 10 to 12 crores, which is the lowest business than all the films of Aamir Khan so far.
