Pakistan’s Independence Day is being celebrated with zeal and zest

The nation is celebrating Independence Day with traditional zeal and zest, Celebration events will be held throughout the country with caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Streets in smaller and bigger cities of the Pakistan are decorated with the green and white colors of the Pakistani flag . Due to COVID-19 pandemic the events are held with cautions .

During the celebrations, all precautions will be taken in connection with the coronavirus. The participants must wear masks and adhere to social distancing. The indoor spaces will sanitized and Hand sanitizers must be available at the entrance to the Independence Day Celebration areas.

Although COVID-19 pandemic has killed over six thousands people in the country but Pakistan is one of the the handful of countries where virus cases have significantly dropped in recent weeks. 

The national flag hoisting ceremony will be held at at President House Islamabad where President Dr. Arif Alvi will be the chief guest. The change of guards event will be held at Mazar-e-Quaid and Allama Iqbal Tomb, National Flag will be hoisting on government, private buildings, houses and solidarity will be expressed with the Kashmiri Muslims of Occupied Kashmir. The buildings are decorated with green and colorful lights.

Historians say that despite challenges, the country has accomplished several feats over the past 73 years in the fields of science and technology, medicines and sports. Pakistan's history is a mix of failures and successes, but survival is one of the biggest achievements of Pakistan as many had predicted it would not last long as a country.
